Jerry is a narrow gauge tank engine who used to work on the Mid Sodor Railway. He was not featured in any stories, but was featured on the Rev. W. Awdry's layout of the railway. It is unknown what happened to him after the Mid Sodor Railway closed.
Jerry was built out of a Peco Jeanette kit that was based on the Andrew Barclay "Doll" 0-6-0 locomotive, which was built in 1919 by Andrew Barclay for the Sydenham ironstone quarries. It has been preserved and can be seen in service on the Leighton Buzzard Light Railway in Bedfordshire, England.
Jerry is painted green with a brass dome and safety valve. His footplate and the top of his tanks are black, while his bufferbeam is painted red. His name and number are painted on the sides of his cab in yellow lettering.
